To make an appointment, simply call the office, email me or fill out the online form at the bottom of this page. When contacting me, leaving some possible times to reach you can often make connecting easier. If I have not replied to you within 48 hours, please call my office at 604.541.8816 as the confidential voicemail has the current information about any changes to my office hours or days, including absences. My usual office days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and sometimes Friday.
Feel free to call for a complementary phone consultation for any information you may need about working together or about an appointment. This consultation can give you a feel for what it is like to talk with me as well as some information about how I work, services provided and appointment availability.
First Appointment
It is absolutely normal if you feel some anxiety or nervousness before your first appointment. Trust is something that we build over time. When you first come to the office, we will spend time learning more about what you are experiencing and what counselling has to offer. We start with where you are at and go from there. If for any number of reasons, my services do not meet your needs, I will do my best to provide appropriate referral information.
Confidentiality
Prior to beginning counselling, I ensure that I have provided you with information about confidentiality and the specific exceptions that may arise. As a Registered Social Worker, my practice is governed by the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of the [British Columbia College of Social Workers].
Fees
Fees are $130 an individual and $160 a couple for a one hour session. A number of sessions in my practice are reserved for fee payment on a sliding scale to address a range of special circumstances.

My services may be partially or fully covered under your extended health benefits or your workplace employee assistance plan. I am registered with the Crime Victims Assistance Program of B.C.
