Make An Appointment

White-rock-surrey-bc-counselling-officeTo make an appointment, simply call, email me, or fill out the online form at the bottom of this page.  If you reach my confidential voicemail, I will call you back within 24 hours, usually sooner.  In your message, if you are able to leave me some times to reach you, this can often make connecting easier.  If I have not replied to your email (occasionally email gets labeled junk) or responded to your form fillout within 24 hours, please call my office at 604.541.8816 as here you will find any changes to my office hours or days. My usual office days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and sometimes Friday.

I am currently accepting new clients.  Feel free to call for a complementary phone consultation to see if I am the right counsellor for you.  This consultation will give you a feel for what it is like to talk with me as well as some information about how I work, services provided and my available appointments.

First Appointment

It is absolutely normal if you feel some anxiety or nervousness before your first appointment.  Trust is something that we build over time. When you first come to the office, we will spend time learning more about what you are experiencing and what counselling has to offer.  We start with where you are at and go from there.  If for any number of reasons, my services don’t meet your needs, I will do my best to provide appropriate referral information.

Prior to beginning counselling, I ensure that I have provided you with information about confidentiality and the specific exceptions that may arise. As a Registered Social Worker, my practice is governed by the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of the [British Columbia College of Social Workers].

Fees are $110 an individual and $130 a couple for a one hour session. A number of sessions in my practice are reserved for fee payment on a sliding scale to address a range of special circumstances.

Please contact me at 604.541.8816 for fees for family group sessions, other types of consultation or group work as well as sliding scale fee inquiries.

Payment is due at the end of the session unless an alternate arrangement has been made. Cheque or cash are accepted and I will issue you a receipt.  Counselling services for Registered Social Workers are exempt from HST.

My services may be partially or fully covered under your extended health benefits or your workplace employee assistance plan.  I am registered with the Crime Victims Assistance Program of B.C.

24 hour cancellation notice for an appointment is required and appreciated.  Without this minimum notice, a missed session fee may apply.

If you use our form fill out below just provide general information. We can discuss the nature of your enquiry or your appointment over the phone.
